Finally!

You all remember the hissy fit I threw when my hairdresser dumped me to become the salon's full time manager? (if not, it's in the July archives)

Anyway, I'm been bitchin' and moanin' and whinin' and cryin' about it since then. I've really been a big baby about it. Really. Haven't had the heart to find a new salon, haven't had the energy to call the current salon and get a new hairdresser...until now. And really the only reason I'm dealing with it now is I look so gawdawful hideous I can no longer ignore the problem. My hair is way too long, way too straggly, and it is super unattractive. Bad doesn't even begin to describe the condition of my hair. So I called last week and made an appointment.

This Friday I will be entrusting my head and my hair to Becky. Pray for me people.

I need therapy.

My next new cat will be named "Pickles". Why? Because it's funny and it would fit both a male and a female. So I think I should get another cat so I can name it Pickles.

The bigger question is why am I even thinking about getting a new cat? That's why I need therapy. My cats combined with my dad's cats means there are way too many cats in this house. Way too many. Cat hair is everywhere and no matter how many times I Swiffer the floors, dust the furniture, and use the lint roller on my clothes there is still way too much.

But don't you think Pickles is a cute name?

Don't worry. I'm not getting another cat. But! If a really cute little one finds its way into my heart, it will be named Pickles.

R.I.P. AugieCar

*wipes tear from eye*

It's official. AugieCar is done. The clutch is shot and needs to be replaced. There is no way I can justify putting over $1,000 into repairing a 1996 vehicle with 101,000 miles on it.

Say what you want about American made cars, this one was well worth every penny I paid for it and it performed above and beyond. The only major money I put into it was in the last year and that was to replace worn out parts--brakes and the water pump. I had no problems or issues with it, and it took me safely from Tampa to Maryland several times, with many smaller trips inbetween. It never broke down on me, never gave me any scares, and it got me where I needed to be during the hottest summers and coldest winters.

Thank you, little blue Chevy Cavalier.

And now the search for the newest AugieCar. *sigh* I hate car payments.

*swoon*

New single is released! Listen to it here.

Check out the picture of him when you click on the "Listen to Once in a Lifetime". That is a picture of one happy, sexy man.

*thud*

I cannot wait for his new CD. Not sure when this new single will be available on iTunes, but you better believe I'll be checking every day.

Random stuff

-- It's already the first weekend of August! Where has the summer gone? Wasn't it just May?

-- 9 weeks until the season premiere of Lost (if the reports the first episode will be Oct 4th are true). *waits impatiently*

-- Who wants to do my laundry?

-- It's been one year since my Miss Kitty went to the great big catnip garden in the sky. She was a wonderful little soul and blessed me with 8 years of love and loyalty.

-- The Augie Car is in the shop. *whine* Clutch problems. *bigger whine* No offical diagnosis yet, that should come tomorrow. *big BIG pout*

-- On a happier note, my boyfriend Keith Urban should be releasing a new single this month, with a new CD coming out in September or October. Yippee skippy!

WARNING: Big Brother spoiler alert...read at your own risk

-- Janelle won POV yesterday! *pumps fist* YAY for Janie! Danielle is in solitary confinment (at her own doing by the way, she "bought" it during the POV comp) and has been boo hooing and whining ever since. ROFLMAO! Dani thinks she's so much better and smarter than everyone else. Yeah, right. You were so sure you'd send Janelle home this week, and now she will be here, gunning for your ass, Miss Smartypants Danielle. Ha!

*swelter*

According to weather.com, it is currently 88 degrees here (at 10am eastern time), but it feels like 101 degrees (the dreaded heat index). The high today should be 100, with a heat index of 110 degrees. More of the same tomorrow.

*sweats*

Let's be honest...once it is 100, what's a couple more degrees going to do? 100 or 110, it's HOT. HOT HOT HOT

Now we add in the humidity...it's currently at 71%. *mops brow* This means the second you walk outside it's feels like you are in a sauna.

*sniffs pits*

I know it's like this almost everywhere, so here is my idea:

Let's all meet up at the beach and have a par-tay. I'll bring the beach chairs and bouncing drinks. Who wants to come?

Oh, and Happy August everyone!
