Tiger Lilies

Tiger Lilies...one of the best things in my garden. And Glow? One of the bright spots in my life. Have a great time in San Francisco, sweetie.

Augie needs a miracle!

I couldn't resist the current Google game, so here goes...

Augie needs a miracle. (Ain't that the truth?)

Augie needs a tall partner. (Yeah! I like my men tall!)

So I've been thinking that the baby augie needs to do a baby augie photo shoot and post some up-dated pix of my tiny rock star life. (There's a baby Augie????)

These next two indicate I might be some performer or some such...

AUGIE needs as many agency staff as possible. (I must be quite the difficult client. *proud grin*)

AUGIE needs to describe a world that most agents can’t yet see, and that’s something a survey cannot describe. (Augie LIVES in a world most everyone else can't see.)

Yep I agree, Augie needs to lighten up and turn this into a positive instead of pursuing this as a negative. (Well who the hell who asked you????)

And apparently Augie is a he...

...as I’ve said in the past, Augie needs to play more like he eats nails for breakfast every morning instead of Cap’n Crunch. (Yeah! No more Mr. Nice Guy Augie!)

Augie said he figures he needs to add 10 to 15 pounds and is working very hard on his outside game. (Augie does NOT need to add 10 to 15 pounds! Trust me on this.)

Basically, Augie, the King, gets whatever he needs to stay cool! (Damn straight! Augie is the King! Or Queen. Or whatever.)

Using my real name produced these gems:
Yvonne Needs A Get Out Of Jail Card. (I was trying to keep that a secret.)
Yvonne needs $80000 to pay her lawyer and to pay off credit cards. (which is probably why I need a get out of jail card!)
Yvonne needs to practice getting Freckles to sit nicely and behave. (I bet Freckles got me into my current legal and monetary troubles. Stupid Freckles!)
What Yvonne needs is a tiara for that head of hers and a carriage with white horses. (I've been telling people this for YEARS!)
But Yvonne needs our helps, too. So, I make donations to both sides.(Yes people, I need your "helps" so make a BIG donation.)
Yvonne needs to go back to school. she has too much time on her hands! (Again, I say "Who asked you"?)
Yvonne needs to put her game face on and stop being repetitive.
Yvonne needs to put her game face on and stop being repetitive.
Yvonne needs to put her game face on and stop being repetitive.
*puts on game face*
Yvonne needs urgently a small stations wagon to transport all the equipment. (I bet that stupid Freckles needs all the damn equipment. Stupid Freckles!)
Yvonne needs to win the hards and minds of the male American public is her face. (You got that right!)

I tried AugustGirl and the first match I got was my blog, then I got a few entries from RTVW, and a few from my fellow bloggers *waves to Luna, Alice in Psycholand, Supes, PhoenixMons*, then a few posers pretending to be me. *grin*

I got dumped!

My hairdresser broke up with me! She only cuts hair 3 days a week and is the assistant salon manager the other days. Well, the manager (daughter of the owner) went and got married, got herself knocked up, and has decided to only work part time when the baby comes. The owner's daughter wants to stay home with the baby so she decided to make herself the assistant salon manager and is going to work from home. The owner asked Nunzio *waves to Monsty and Carey* if she would like to become the full time manager.

(prepare yourselves people...here is where the story gets very sad)

She said yes. *sob* She stops taking clients on August 1st. Wah!

*pauses to dab tears from eyes*

I've been going to her since 1987 and except for the 7 years I lived in Tampa no one else has touched my hair--and trust me, the trauma I experienced in Tampa regarding my hair would fill a book. Fill.A.Book.People. I was so happy to move back home so I could be with my Nunzio again.

I am very, very upset about this. I still have one scheduled appointment with her at the end of June and then it will be over. Done. Finito. I don't want to break in a new hairdresser. I don't want new people touching my hair. I don't want to try to explain how I like things done. Nunzio already knows. Nuzio and I have a bond. Nunzio and I are like this *crosses third finger over index finger*

I would take a bullet for Nunzio if ever I was in the salon and a crazed gunman came in and started firing willy nilly and Nunzio got in the way of an errant bullet. I would have. Seriously.

I'm in a serious funk over this. *throws self on ground and has a fit*

For Monsty

Daisies mean loyal love, innocence, gentleness...

...all words that make me think of my sweet sistah Monsty.

And a bonus picture: Yarrow
I love yarrow so much. This is a picture of just one plant. So many hues from one plant...the buds are almost white, the newest blooms are deep red, the more mature ones are a softer red, almost pink. Yarrow is a complex, yet amazingly simple plant. I love yarrow, and I love daisies.

And I love my sistah Monsty.

Friday stuff...

The McDonald's LPGA Championship is being held this weekend at the golf course next to us. The golf course is Bulle Rock (pronounced "Bully") and if I walked straight from the back yard east for 5 minutes I could be rubbing elbows with the golf elite. By "golf elite" I mean their security guards because I'm pretty sure a person just can't stroll onto the golf course. Anywho, here is a picture of the Metlife Blimp that is hovering over the skies.

Pink callas I planted last fall. When they started to come up I couldn't remember what the heck I planted so I was pleasantly surprised when they fully emerged. They are only about 6 inches tall, so I am going to plant tons more this year. I only planted three so I want lots more. Love them. I also have taller white callas but no pictures because there was a big ole spider web with an equally big ole spider hanging over the callas so I didn't take a picture. I mean the spider could have jumped into my hair or something equally horrifying. *shudder* We had a massive thunderstorm last night so I'm hoping the spider and it's web are gone. Stay tuned.

The planter in the corner of the deck. I'm hoping the geranium gets taller because I love the bright hot color. The white petunia is just going crazy. Aren't petunias such happy flowers? I just added the tiny purple petunia so I'm really looking forward to it getting more intertwined with the white one.

I've had a headache for four days now. It was so bad on Wednesday I stayed home from work. Still feel kinda shaky, but I think today will be a good day. I'm off, the sun is shining and I've got three days to relax.

My iPOD has been on shuffle since our trip to Georgia and I haven't gotten to the last song yet. I'm on song #670 of 915--Baby Girl by Sugarland. If my daily commute was longer than 6 miles I'd probably be through the list by now, but I only average about 3 or 4 songs per ride. And I've been fastforwarding through the Christmas songs so I'm sure I'd only be about half way through by now. There is just something off about hearing a Christmas tune in June. Or maybe I just don't want to hurry through the warm weather. I love summer. I love my iPOD! I love being off!

Happy Friday everyone!
