125 heat index
I love summer. LOVE IT! But this heat wave has been brutal. Yesterday the high was 103 degrees with a heat index of 125 degrees. In all my born days I have never felt this kind of heat.
Oppressive, hot, humid, heavy, wet and just darn HOT.
Makes me *almost* wish for February. But not really.
Today is supposed to be another 103 degree day. OY!

I am not complaining. At all. Nope. I will take this over any winter day.
I can't run in it, but I'm not really running these days anyway. I rode my bike on Saturday and actually "felt" the heat when I stopped for a water break. I still don't mind.
I always am boggled when they say hot summers make for a baby boom nine months later. Unless the AC is on in this heat, don't touch me!
Our grass is dormant, flowers are dying, my electricity bill is going to be huge.
Our pool is getting used lots this summer, love it.
Letterman has had some funny comments about "feels like..."

Not complaining, but wanted to say I've never felt that kind of heat before. Ever.
What's funny is that 95 degrees seems cool now.
