First true sign of Spring
I spent $60 at Home Depot on Saturday and I was only there for maybe 10 minutes. Let the planting begin!
Pansies - $12
Mulch - $ 6
Assorted shurbs - $40
Saying "hello" to Spring? - PRICELESS!

Don't we have to wait for the snow to go first?
I thought Pansies were for the winter.
Breezy - our last snow was the 1st of march and so far *crosses fingers* we don't have any more in the forecast.
Boo - Pansies are great flowers for the spring and fall because they can take the cold nights. Once the ground warms up I plant pansies to give the yard some color. By the heat of June they are toast, but so worth it now.
Garden ho.
We might get snow tomorrow.
I see. I have no clue about any of this. My Day Lillies are coming right now, so I'm excited about that.
They say we will get snow this weekend. Hopefully it doesn't stick.
*shudders* at the snow forecast.
NO MORE SNOW!
Our daffodils are ready to bloom. YAY!
A sure sign of spring is a flower post on Augie's blog! :D
Still snow on the ground here. We'll get at least one more dumping before it's gone for good.
Planting. PLANTING!?! That's almost 2 months away for me. Except for the lovely pansies which can ge hardened and planted as soon as the topsoil thaws. Which should be sometime next month, lol.
We planted last weekend, too.
