Answer for Swami
Swami asked a question in the last post, so I thought I'd answer it in a new one.
Regarding my Bush Countdown counter *points left*...Swami asks:
"So on Day 0, Hour 0, Minute 0 and Second 0 what does your blog do?"
I'm glad you asked, Swami. At zero hour, my blog will dance with joy, as I'm sure a majority of Americans will dance with joy. 8 long, horrible, inept years finally behind us.
Lord help Mr. Obama as he tries to get us out of the awful mess Bush has left him.
Goodbye Mr. Bush. Don't let the door of the White House hit your incompetent, arrogant, elitist, insipid, bumbling ass on the way out.

At work we all have little tabletents on our desk (all but the two Republicans). On one side is a picture of Bush and in big letters it says "Good Bye". On the other side is the same picture of Bush and in big letters it says "worst president ever".
I am considering getting some fireworks and setting them off as Obama is sworn in, lol. That seems very appropriate to me. Then I am going to buy a new sofa. I have not been buying stuff for the past few months. I finally figured out that I am just waiting for Obama. I do not want any money I spend to be counted as Bush's "fixing" the economy, or "restoring faith" or any other thing Bush might claim.
I'm going to shave my bush *grin*
I like your idea Swami of not spending anything on big items until Obama is sworn in.
I have already put in a leave slip for January 20th. I'm going to watch every single second of the inauguration, I'm going to enjoy every second of it, and I'm going to jump with joy when Bush leaves DC.

I just said to Chris, "We really need to go celebrate." He reminded me that I voted for him during his first presidential run. I've been trying to forget. At least I realized my mistake and changed my vote the second time around.
