Eureka!

I got the first season of Eureka today. I'm going to watch it this weekend in preparation for the second season premier Tuesday night.

*secret confession time*

I love sci fi. Most of the shows I really love have come from either the mind of Gene Roddenberry, the SCI FI channel, or Britain.

For example:

The entire Star Trek legacy, but I do have to admit I loved Voyager and Enterprise the most.
Firefly
Farscape (Ben Browder!)
Stargate -- SG-1 and Atlantis
Babylon 5
Red Dwarf (British show that is hi-freakin-larious. if you like Monty Python, you'll like Red Dwarf)
X-Files (Mulder!)
Dead Zone

Current network shows include:
Lost
Heroes
Jericho

I caught a few episodes of Dead Like Me on Sci Fi this past week and now have another DVD set to add to my Amazon "wish list".

Me love SciFi too!

All Star Trek - YES! Especially TNG. I liked Enterprise the least mostly because I thought they messed with the timeline.

Firefly - loved it! It was such a high quality show I don't know why they cancelled it so soon!

Farscape - wonderful

StarGate. No more SG-1 forever (SOB!!!). How can you have a SciFi friday without StarGate? Atlantis needs to pick up their writing a bit because sometimes their stories don't track well. I am looking forward to Sam spiffing things up.

Babylon 5 - somehow I never watched this

Red Dwarf, never heard of it.

Dead Zone - mostly good.

X-Files - Classic! And the truth is still out there!

Lost - I got sick and quit watching after season 2. Everybody made such stupid choices.

Heroes - fabulous!

Jericho - yay! We get more episodes! Pass the nuts please.

Um... No 4400? No Battlestar Gallactica? No Dr. Who?

I have recorded about 18 eps of Dead Like Me from this past week but I haven't watched any yet.

SWAMI! I knew you sense my sci fi post and come to visit. :-)

I never watched 4400. I take it I should?

Never watched Dr. Who either.

I agree about the writing on Atlantis, that it needs to improve.

I watched the original Battlestar Galactica (LOVED richard hatch -- not the fat nekkid survivor, but the dreamy one from the 80.s). Haven't seen the newest one.

I never got into SciFi. When I was a kid, I liked reading science fiction after I met Ray Bradbury. And of course, you remember that I met Leonard Nimoy.

I love scifi also but always forget to watch the shows. I saw a commercial for Eureka and want to watch that. I didn't realize I missed a whole season.

I love the Dead Zone.

I watched the 4400 when it first came on but then the programming became erratic and I didn't know when it was on and I got so lost. I wish I could have kept up with it.

OMH, I used to love the original Battlestar Galactica.

Yay, I'm a big huge sci fi geek.
Ben Browder in all those leather pants....*drool*
I liked the Dresden Files on sci fi this year but I think that was a summer show. I loved the books.
We met the girl who played River Tam in the elevator at Dragon Con last year. Needless to say, she's gorgeous.

*thanks Cod that Bravie is here for me to sit with*

Unless you want to count BB. Cause I really have to wonder where they got this crew from? And that could lead us down a SciFi path.

Auggie - yopu must see Battlestar Gallactica! It is delicious! Hot, sexy, geeky and suspenseful. Really good special effects, but not overdone.

Watch the DVD of the 3(?) hour premiere ep of 4400. It's really fun. The series is mostly pretty good also.

Did you ever watch Roswell? I never got into that one either altho my oldest daughter loved it.

Kim is not a Sci Fi fan. Every once in awhile I find something that I like on the Sci Fi channel.

Perhaps I need a space creature to help me understand all I need to know about ipods.
