10 glorious days...

until I go back to work. 10 days with no committments, no alarm clocks, no "have to's", no nothing!

I'm not going anywhere, I'm not planning anything--except to work in a few afternoon naps. I'm just going to chill out, catch up on my reading (or not), catch up on my DVD watching (or not), do some gardening, relax and recharge.

Last night I soaked in a Lush bathbomb and bath melt (Dream On BB and Dreamtime bath melt). Loved it! And I finished S is for Silence, so I'm all caught up with the Sue Grafton series. Hmmm, wonder when "T" comes out?

As a bonus, I can watch the season finales of 24 and Lost in real time this week and not have to worry about being a zombie at work the next day because I only got 4 or 5 hours of sleep (if that much)!

Man, this is going to be the most perfect week!
Edited to add Keebler - he's happy too! He is surrounded by flowers and not icky ice and snow.
5 points to the first person who can spot the cat in the picture.

Good for you! Enjoy it! And I think I'm going to have to check out one of these Lush things pretty quick, because I'm getting very jealous hearing ya'll talk about them!

Luna! The weather is supposed to be awesome this week, and my toes are freshly painted with OPI's La Paz-itively Hot. It can't get much better than that. :-)

How did you rank 10 whole days off? I'm so jealous. *smooooooch*

And did you see the baby Keith Urban picture in Country Weekly????

*smooch* to all

5 points to Momma!

I ranked 10 days off because I haven't taken any time off lately. Since I work for the government I accumulate leave time, and if at the end of the year if I have 240 hours of unused leave, I start to lose it. Ain't no way I'm going to earn leave time, then lose it because I haven't used it. No way!

So, I am using exactly 36 hours of leave (this Friday is my regular day off, and next Monday is a holiday).

Was that confusing enough for you?

Use or Lose Baby!

Because I am a contractor and have been on the contract for 11 years, my cap is 320 but they pay me out for the time rather than losing it. There are very few perks to being a contractor, but that's one of them. I currently have 216 and should have somewhere aroung 240 in October which they will pay me out when I leave here. That's a nice cushion to move with.

I am sooooo glad you enjoyed your LUSH bath. That's the combo I use when I want to sleep like a baby. How are your soap samples?

I haven't used the Violet soap sample yet, but I loved the other one (can't remember the name).

I hate to admit it but I have already placed another Lush order. *shakes head*

Oh Augie, it's like crack. Frisky has made us all crack addicts.

Did you use the freebie codes that I posted on the LUSH blog? LOVE the soaps. LOVE. I ordered a bunch of soaps this time around. My LUSH boxes are in Illinois as I type this. Woohoo!

what time do you get up in the morning? Because, I mean, Lost is on at 10 and isn't 24 on at 9?

I should buy one of those bath bombs and take it on the boat. Wait! I don't even know if I'll have a tub or just a shower. yikes. One of these days, I will join this Lush "cult". I have a feeling it is hopelessly addictive, eh?

Glow, I get up at 4:30am on work days. If I watch Lost, that means I don't go to bed until after 11pm, and who knows when I'll fall asleep. I definitely need more than 5 hours of sleep to function.

Some people can live on less than 7 hours of sleep, but not me. I need at least 6, and I really need 7. Getting 8 is out of the question, but I try to avoid getting to bed after 10. Most of this season I've taped Lost and watched it on Thursday after work.

The boat most likely will only have a shower stall. You might be able to check online as to the layout of your cabin. So you could order any of the Lush soaps and take with you.

Can I get 10 points because I think I know what the M stands for in the picture?

(I think it is a M anyway.)

I'm with you, Augie. I get up at 4:15 during the week and staying up until 10m is a chore for me.

Yes Monsty, that is an M in the picture. And it doesn't stand for "monsty", so I'm sure you do know what it does mean. :-)

4:00 a.m. - I try to never see that hour.

I'm hear to express my relief that Keebler survived the winter.

ack! Maybe you should sleep with my husband. He gets up at 4:15 and it is a chore for me to get back to sleep after his alarm goes off. (I am one of those people who doesn't get much sleep at night.)

I was really looking forward to taking a bath but yeah, I believe it is only an itty bitty shower stall.

I did see the kitty, btw.

I see the kitty, but didn't see it until you asked about it. Love the flowers. We went to 2 local botanical gardens on Monday and had a beautifully peaceful time walking through the gardens.

4:30 am is the middle of the night to me.

What a nice pic. Pretty pics. *waves to Keebler & kitty*

I was telling DH about the new Lush cult online and he told me to get some. I don't think he understands how much they are. LOL.

Yay for you having 10 days off. I'd LOVE to do that. Just hang around and read. I'm on a reading frenzy lately.

I'll have to order the Sue Grafton books. I think the only one I've read is the "R" one.
