Ice!

Poor Keebler. He's all frozen--covered in snow and ice. Poor, poor Keebler.

This is what an ice covered car looks like from the inside. Don't ask me how long it took me to get inside the car to take the picture. *sigh*
My car looks like it had the sniffles and it froze. I hate when that happens. (the blurry spot on the right side is a frozen rain drop on my lens--I hate when that happens too)

Ice sucks when it falls from the sky. But! I got a day off of work. Yay!

I can still track down your address, your phone number, where you work, your middle name and what you wore for your kindergarten graduation even though you blacked out your license plate number. Just so ya know.

Brrrrrrrr! Yay for a day off work!

My car looked like that not too terribly long ago. However, my gnomes did not.

*smooooooooooch*

Bravie, if you couldn't track down my personal info by now I'd be very worried about you. :-)

Puffy! The snow/ice stopped last night but now we are under a wind chill. Current temp is 18 with a wind chill of 4 degrees.

*snuggles closer to Momma*

Hi Nookie! I hope Keebler still has his legs, but since I can't see them I'm not sure. But he was sorry to hear about the tragic accident your gnome suffered. *sniff*

*puts cold hands down the back of MM's neck*

There's something beautiful about all that ice. LOL

I think you got it worse. We had the ice/snow but north of here was supposed to be really bad.

This morning, my Durango was frozen shut. After working on it for a while, the only thing that would open was the tailgate. I had to crawl through over three rows of seats. The guys on the recycling truck were watching. *sigh*

Man, I hate ice like that! And the door you can get open is never the driver's side door!

Did your tires freeze to the ground too? I always used to marvel at the people who strung multiple extension cords together in a valiant effort to reach their car.

I'm so glad for my garage! And Tom has indoor parking at work too so our cars rarely freeze anymore.

Poor Keebler. I hope that seeping ice doesn't crack him. Around here people often put a clear plastic bag over outdoor stuff for the winter, just to be sure that water doesn't seep into a small crack or pit in the sculpture and then freeze & expand the crack.

Oops. I forgot to say that the extension cord people had their hair dryers on the end of the cords and worked on de-icing their cars that way.

You need a Vanilla Ice soundbit.

Oh. And stay safe please.

I'm glad you didn't have to drive in that. We had iced over trucks on Thursday, but nothing else. I would like for it to either snow about a foot or just be 85 and sunny. I really have no use for anything else.

ick. I didn't go to work that day either. I even tried. While I was trying to figure out how to get the ice off my car, I walked out to the alley and almost fell on my ass. They hadn't salted yet, so I went back to bed. It took me almost two hours to get into my car.

Way back when we used to live in WY, we would occasionally plug in the car so that it would start in the morning.

When I've shared that info with people who have no idea what COLD is, like here it AZ, they think I am out of my ever loving mind. As well, the interstate would occasionally get closed.. they had GATES on the freeway. Arizonans just don't understand.
