Guess what today is?

It's gyno/pap smear day! Who here enjoys gyno/pap smear day?

*looks around*

*waits*

*crickets*

I didn't think so.

*sigh*

What fun. Say hello to gynoman and tell him I will be seeing him in a couple of months.
Poor Augie. *smooch*

Well, that'll be the only action I'll be getting for awhile. So I might celebrate. Or not.

Bravie, it's not gynoman. I'll be seeing the nurse practicioner Janice. She's very nice, just not my type. :-)

Tell me about it, Breezy. *pout*

I refuse to go to a chick. I will only see men gynos. Isn't that weird?

*cringe* Hate it.

Mine is in November. Thanks for the reminder. *whack*

I have had a pap done by a guy three times. One of them was a hot young man. I was embarassed. Thus, I always find a woman to inspect my inards.

None for me until January. Ah, the benefits of squeezing football-sized people out of your guts.

But still, it's better than having your boobs squished in the boob x-ray device. I think men should have their balls squished in an xray device regularly, just to be fair.

I don't care if my gyno is a girl or a boy. Tom will only see female doctors, never guys. With him it's probably a residual homophobia thing - he doesn't want a guy to touch his 'equipment' because it freaks him out. Not that Tom is homophobic but there is some kind of sexual avoidance thing going on in his sex obsessed mind.

I'm not sure why I don't want a chick gyno. The thought freaks me out. I had one for years and she didn't bother me. She was older and I felt pretty comfortable with her. But she retired and so I requested a male. Maybe since I'm a lesbo, I feel that chicks should only be down there for one reason. *shrug*

I just had the whole deal last week. Including my very first mammogram. Boy was that weird!!

I will only go to a woman gyn. Had a VERY creepy experience with a guy. No more!!

I think that is also kinda of my thing, Tkit. What if some creepy lesbian ends up being my doctor. I don't want a lesbian down there poking around unless I've picked her up in a bar or something. *snort*
I really am a homophobic lesbian.

I used to always have my paps done by a male until I was switched to a female. I never wanted a male down there again after that LOL. There was an obvious difference in how she handled things. She was gentler.

I haven't had a pap in 4 years because I don't have a cervix anymore. I suppose I need to see a doctor but have no idea what they would do down there now LOL.

Oh what fun! ..not!

I'd gladly give up my cervix if it meant I didn't have to go through that!

I think it's been two years since my last exam. I prefer having a woman gyno to a man gyno, because the women do seem to be gentler.

I survived it! But, she reminded me I have to get my yearly mammogram in November. *SIGH*

I don't have to go back until July! That would be the one of the two upsides to my recent surgery.

I called today requesting a pap. Heh. I like to know I am ok. My gyno is a female, and I like her very much. Once, a long time ago, our insurance carriers changed and I had to see a man. He reminded me of creepy MILs DH, and I refused to let him see me. Ick. Paps don't generally bother me. *shrug*

Mammograms though? *shudder*

BWAHA!!! Swami.... lol

My gynie is a dude, btw. No chick doctors for me. I think I'm a male chauvinist when it comes to doctors.

I think I'm past due. I have a man, a very creepy older man. He's very proactive about problems and I'm too lazy to change.

LOL@ Swami! Poor MTW...he wandered innocently into the thread and got "fondled" by Swami.

Sorry Augie. I hate it too.

I'm like Carey, I too will only see a man - I think it's because I've always gone to a man. Although a woman did deliver Conner.

I don't have mine until like February or March. I think I'm suppose to lose a few pounds before I go. Guess I'd better get cracking.
