Soon.

Winter will be over soon. At least I hope--no--I pray it will. The first day of spring is March 20th, or so the calendar tells me. By this time each year I have serious doubts that the earth will ever warm up and the plants will awaken from their winter sleep. In order to convince myself (and you!) that spring will come, no matter what, here is evidence of past springs in my area:

Tulips

Daffodils

Dogwood tree

More daffodils

Those are beeeee-u-teee-ful flowers! We're having a tree trimmer coming today to give us an estimate on several overgrown trees.

I don't know why Mr. Puffy doesn't want to climb up the trees and chop them down as I dodge the falling branches below.

Beautiful!

I thinned out the in-laws crocuses and daffodils this morning and brought a huge box home from the farm! Yay!

Love your flower pics. I should take some pics of my yard once it blooms. I am redoing an old flower bed in the front yard, so I am looking for some pretty perrenials to plant.

Hurry Spring!

I woke up to snow today, but then saw your pictures and it brought back memories.

When I was little, about 6-7, I used to go to my neighbors yard and pick her daffodils. She would let me, but finally gave me a pair of sheers so I would stop pulling them out of the ground.

I loved bringing them home to my grandma.

I do not have a green thumb. I let Michelle do all of the flowery things around our house.
Very nice pictures, Augie.

Beautiful, thank you for sharing! I need to know that under the fresh snow there are plants just waiting to pop up!

Purty flowers! My parents used to have a couple of dogwood trees in the back yard. Before they heartlessly ripped them out and put a pool there. *sniff*

The weather can't seem to make up its mind here in FL- cold, warm, cold. Of course cold here is anything below 72 degrees. :P

Pretty flowers Augie! My tulips and daffodils are under about 4 feet of snow. It will be a while before I see them. I can't wait to start of my rock garden again this year. It looked okay last summer but was kind of bare because we got a late start. This year I hope to have it blooming like crazy!

Soooooooooo pretty! My day lillies are starting to sprout out so I should see the buds soon. Some peeps in the neighborhood have daffodils that have bloomed. Nice flowers.

Love your dogwood tree. We have some cherry and pear trees in the neighborhood that have bloomed. My maple tree is starting to sprout its leaves.

Unfortunately, the weeds have reared their ugly heads also.

Ooo! Pretty flower pictures! These are the days when I have to hide my Plant Nursery catalogs. Ordering stuff does not make Spring happen, lol. I make that mistake every year!

I really want a Magnolia tree. There is a variety of Star Magnolia tree which is hardy even here in Minnesota, and I want one!

Lovely pictures! I planted crocuses, tulips and daffodils last fall with Annabelle and everyday we check. Hopefully by the end of the month.

She is so cute, she keeps asking if spring is here and maybe we should water them.

Ahhh...spring.

Both of weather and the green thumb.

Wow. I am envious.

I'd take a picture of my garden, but it's under at least four feet of snow. I will just live vicariously through you, I guess.

Hi Augie!

Your blog should be scratch and sniff. Can you do that for me?
