Survivor!
I really enjoyed Survivor last night. Enjoyed how they have broken them up into 4 tribes by age and gender. Enjoyed the Exile Island premise, and how they can wait until the votes are read to use the idol. Love that! Who here thinks Young Girl did NOT find the idol last night? Me!
Favorite line: Cirie--"I'm in the Older Woman tribe. I'm not older. I'm in the wrong tribe".
Favorite Survivor so far: Cirie--she should be good for a few laughs to say the least. She's afraid of leaves?!?! Ha!
Least Favorite so far: The guy trying to quit smoking, but I'm sure that will change next week.
I think this is going to be a good one. Looks like they have shaken up how everyone has come to expect the game to be played, and for this I am happy. It had gotten to be the same old/same old and it was time to change the game.
And? Jeff is still as cute as can be. Love those dimples. *grin*

Cirie's my girl! Lumberjill was weird. I don't think Misty found the idol either. I thought her attempt to make the others think she found it was pretty sad.
I think I'm going to really like this season. I like the personalities already. Those young girls were as bright as a box of nails. Cirie might not want to be known as an older woman but I'd rather spend a few days with them than those young chickies.
I couldn't help but laugh at the young guys too. Nice freakin shelter dudes!
Jeffie is as handsome as ever but what is different about his hair? It looked darker? Or like there was more of it? Dimples. *swoon*
Loved it! I cannot stand Cirie though. Not one bit.
I also think Misty didn't find the idol and her lying about it will come back to bite her. Not a good idea.
Does anyone else get goosebumps when the Survivor theme starts on a new season? I do *grin*
And, it was interesting to see the young girls. For once, their beauty and charm has no affect and they are left on their own to make things work ... which they couldn't.
I don't think Misty found the idol. And I, like Nookie, think it will come back to bite her.
We missed the first 10 minutes or so. I don't have a favorite yet but I did like Shane. Three packs a day to none? That dude's nuts.
As someone who would have been placed on the "Older Woman" tribe (against my will, I must say) I have to admit I laughed my butt off at how badly the Younger Woman and the Younger Men did. They think they're so much better? Ha!

Glow Pop! I agree that Shane is nuts. Total bonkers. The guy should have stopped smoking at least one month before the start of the show. He is going to have an even harder time than anyone else.
I have to root for Sally since she is the first Minnesotan on Survivor. She seems okay too. I like the 4 tribes. LOL at the three creepy severed heads that make up the immunity idol!
Shane could be an absolute riot, if he stays. It'll be fun to watch his melt down LOL.

I am watching for the 1st time - the entire season. I liked Lumberjill 'cause she knew what she was doing and I thought maybe would eat one of the others if starving. The ick leaves made me lol but I didn't like her 'cause she was too behind the back talking and stabbing. I missed the first 10 minutes also (I was with glowie) and didn't get the Misty being by herself thingy. This is just a Thursday committment, right?
Glow, did you see the part where the young girls lost the first reward challenge? That is why Misty had to stay on Exile Island. I think that was in the first 10 minutes, so you probably missed it.
I do have to say I was surprised at how well they did at the immunity challenge.
No worries, Lasann. It is on Thursdays only, except for the finale which will be on a Sunday.

Yes, Lasann came with us to pool league. And yes, Lasann, it's a Thursday night only commitment. It's addicting.
Oh! Did you watch The Office? Steve Carrell makes me all giggly.
I loved it. I want to knock Ruth Ann over the head with a bamboo pole, though. She bugs me. Misty I like, despite the fact that she's doomed (and she looks like Amber.. what is with that?).
Boys = all dumb, except Asian Man, aka Daffy Duck. I think Pasty White Astronaut Guy is the next Butch.
So far I am liking this season. I'm not making any judgement on the people yet. But I like the way they have mixed things up this season.
Why are none of the young chicks hot? If I have to stare at stupid women every week, at least let them be worth staring at.
Well I watched the Office and it was the best one I've seen yet. Interestingly I watched the 40-year virgin last night also!
I had a big old long reply written and my computer ate it. Joy. Can it get any better?
Anyway, DH and I really enjoyed the splits they made with the tribes. The older mens' team seems to be the most together of the bunch. Except for the old Chinese man. He seems a bit odd. And pasty white astronaut may need to pull his head out of his ass. The younger guys are a bunch of idiots. The younger girls ... well...they've got a lot to prove to me. I laughed my ass off at the older women at tribal. "Already bitching and backstabbing" was DH's comment.
Oh, Augie? Does your stupid ^@*$( budget allow for a new shirt for Jeffy? I am sick of that royal blue shirt he wears day in and day out for 84 seasons.
