Have you started your Christmas shopping?

1. I have started making all the lists for the children.

When do you usually start your serious shopping?

2. I never really go into serious shopping mode.

When do you usually start your serious shopping?

3. Probably early December/late Novemeber?

How much do you shop online? 50%? 75% None?

4. I have to shop online. I cannot stand stupid shoppers. Stupid shoppers = everyone in the mall but me. Plus, I hate to sound like Scrooge but I really dispise this time of year. The stores stuff decorations down our thoughts and they put the emphasis of consume, consume, consume.

Favoite Websites:

5. Amazon.com, LL Bean.com for the kids and heifer.org for the adults although this year, we are donating a flock of chickens for the older kids- in addition to usual prezzies. (In fact, I need to blog about heifer.org...we received a WONDERFUL letter from a young woman who was able to go to college (part scholarship) thanks to a donation made to heifer.org)

Catalogues:

6. Williams-sonoma is the only one that does not get immediately recycled. (Although I am addicted to Pottery Barn kids too.)

Hardest person to shop for:

7. Nobody really.

Getting you!

8. Besides my on going devotion? I was thinking about getting a gift from heiffer in the name of all our friends. I know there are people that cringe and feel ripped off at the thought of an unsolicited charity donation in their name but personally I think it is wonderful. Also, being in Houston so early this year and the Nathaniel factor, make shopping impossible.

I don't have many people to buy for. I will probably buy all the gifts I need in one weekend with the last paycheck I get before winter break.
Hubby's Mom is "santa" so she pretty much takes care of Katie.

Between your Bloggy and Luna's, I need a candy cane.

Monsty -- I love Heifer.org. They get my bi-weekly Combined Federal Campaign donation (all you government employees will know what that means). And that reminds me that I need to fill out the paperwork for 2006.

I have started my Christmas shopping. It's not much, but I've begun.

My serious shopping is usually the first week in December - right after I get my annual Christmas bonus.

The earliest? Hmm...Mid-Summer, maybe?

I shop online for probably about 50% of presents given.

Favorite websites? Usually amazon.com/toysrus.com

Catalogs? ABC Distributing/Lakeside Collection are usually tops for Christmas shopping. Oh, and the Disney Store catalog.

Hardest to shop for has to be my in-laws. They have EVERYTHING!!! And if they don't have it and want it, they go buy it.

What do you want for Christmas? And? I don't have your address.

I'm a proscrastinator. Big Time. If I start shopping two weeks before Christmas, it is a success.

My parents are the hardest to shop for. They have everything. *sigh*

Online? Hmmm...25%?

Not much of a catalog shopper. Even though I get every freaking catalog on earth.

I dont know what I am getting you yet, but it would be safe to say that there will be Sees Candy in the box. *grin*

Normally, about this time, and hope to be finished before December. I hate the crowds.

I think, March.

How much do you shop online? 50%? 75% None?
I would say none.

Favorite websites?
N/A

How about cataloges? If so, any favorites?
No, because the few times I have done this, the items I ordered were out of stock and on back-order, and I want to be sure I have the presents, and don't want to have to run out at the last minute to pick something up.

Who is your hardest person to shop for?
My son.

And finally ...

What are you going to get me?
I was going to get you a Keith Urban, but I see that you will already be getting one.

Have you started your Christmas shopping?
Nope. I've been really behind on all of the holiday stuff this year. I just figured out Thanksgiving travel arrangements and I have given my Mom no Christmas ideas yet.

When do you usually start your serious shopping?
December

When is the earliest you have ever bought a Christmas present?
November? Maybe October? I am kicking myself this year for not buying anything while in Denmark. I guess I'll have to go back.

How much do you shop online? 50%? 75% None?
A lot. Probably 75%-ish. It is MUCH easier to buy things for my family online and have it shipped to my parents' house than to travel with it all.

Favorite websites?
Usually I do a lot through Amazon.com and bestuy.com, but I am looking forward to using my sister's newfound appreciation of clothes to have an excuse to shop other places.

How about cataloges? If so, any favorites?
Not really.

Who is your hardest person to shop for?
Not sure. My grandmother, maybe? My parents, sister and close friends are all a piece of cake.

And finally ...

What are you going to get me?
I can't tell you, silly. :)

Dammit Augie! I have started my Xmas shopping because of you. I even did it online! *shakes head* This is what I've come to...

*giggle*

Kidding! This year I had no choice but to begin online (and well in advance). Nutzgirl wanted Hawthorne Heights concert tickets and I was not going to drive an hour to the box office! Plus, the show is before Xmas.

I also picked up an Carolina Panthers jersey (at 20% off!) for Nutzboy. Apparently, I would have to drive much more than an hour to find it in a store. All I could find 'round here were Jets, Jints & Iggles.

Hey, the T.O. jerseys are on clearance! *snort*
