Nine days
I have nine days off. Nine days that I will not be at work. Nine whole days.
I can't really go anywhere because I have no money (see "Stupid Car" post), but I want to do fun stuff.
What should I do? Tell me people. Guide me. Show me the way.
Or threadjack (postjack?) at will.

Bloggers fuel Libby letter conspiracies
We here at Blogma are wary of even peripherally touching such hot-button political issues as what some call Plame-gate . We try to stick to buzzing issues that have some sort of technology angle and avoid ...

You should find a way to legally kill spammers.
Read a good book.
Clean out your closet.
Clean out MY closet.
Drive around your town and just take in your surroundings. Appreciate the beauty of where you live.
Do some gardening ( and spider killing)
rent movies that you have always wanted to see.
Sleep late.
Do some baking. Or cooking. Spend a day cooking a bunch of different meals and then freeze them. Then when you go back to work you will have easy meals to just heat up.
Paint something, a room or a bench for your garden.
See if any good concerts are going on near you.
Check out the paper for any kind of fairs or antique shows or something that might be going on.
Go to 7-11.
I think spam killing is at the top of my list. Stupid spammers. Like I would go to their dumb blogs. Sheesh.
Good ideas, Carey. I have a few books that I need to finish.
Driving around is a good idea too. The leaves are just starting to change.
*smooch*
I say blog. Everyday. Tell us about the neat or boring things you do. :)
Actually, Carey has some great suggestions here. Personally, I would play online all day and sleep.
*squinty eyes* Michelle? Did you log on as Carey?
Sounds like the first spammer is actually trying to be helpful. *evil grin*
You should give me your email, so I could scan some of my work for next week, and email it to you. You could help me with my work, and that would help pass the time.
~arkie <---being helpful forever
*glare*<----that's for Breezy.
Augie? Go see a scary movie or walk in your Blair Witch woods. *grin*
Go to a Starbucks, bring some magazines and the Post (or maybe you read a Baltimore paper) and relax in a comfortable chair.
Go to the Inner Harbor and people watch.
Go antiquing (sp) in Fredderick or Kensington or somewhere.
Go to REI and see what they have going on for day classes or overnight classes. They have a lot of kiaking at Great Falls this time of year.
Take Grover for his "massage" or save me $7 and do it yourself.
(OK, one of these was a joke. I cannot really see you kiaking.)
Go get a pedicure every day. But here is the catch...only get one toe done. On the last day say "What the hell! Do two today!"
I say pedicure and Starbucks.
Come and babysit! I'll pay for gas!
*poot*
Ooooh! I know! Drive to WV. *pout*
Ummmm. come over and watch my kids for nine days? It's free....
*evil grin*
Then I'll do all the things everyone else told you to do...
Great suggestions everyone. Thank you.
I do have to give Zombie the award for Best.Suggestion.Ever. You are too funny. A pedicure one toe at a time. *giggle*
Starbucks is also a fabulous idea -- thanks Coco and Monsty.
I'll definitely be blogging, and I most definitely will not be taking Arkie's work via email. *glare*
:-)
I too laughed at Zombs. Especially the last day of "what the hell, do two"
*snort*
Umm..You're in pretty color changing leaf land, right? I think you should go for a drive through the pretty trees, maybe a walk even. Then a hay ride. And take pictures for those of us who don't get seasons.
Then? A total pampering day. Read a few good books. Clean house. Drag out all of your Halloween decorations and decorate. Go to the Pumpkin Patch. Carve a pumpkin or two.
Umm...what else would I do? Sleep! Lots and lots of sleep!
Wow, lucky you! I wish I could have 9 days off. Carey has some great suggestions. Why don't you borrow Carey's weinermobile and visit us :-)
